From Suvarnabhumi it's 25 minutes and 40 baht direct, no transfer. There is no BTS or MRT directly in Pratunam; the nearest BTS is Chidlom (10-min walk south) or Ratchathewi (10-min walk west). Inside the area, walking is fine, though pavements are broken. The Khlong Saen Saep canal boat at Pratunam Pier is faster than a taxi to Ekkamai or the Old Town during rush hour — 10-20 baht, loud, and involves stepping onto a moving boat.
