There is one BTS line (Gold Line, three stops) and one MRT line that recently opened; mostly you are on boats and buses. IconSiam is the transport hub, and the free shuttle boats to Sathorn (BTS) run every 15 minutes. Wat Arun is reached by cross-river ferry from Tha Tien. From Wat Arun you can walk the 4 km riverside route south past Santa Cruz Church in Kudi Chin to Wat Prayoon and out to Memorial Bridge, then walk across to the east bank. Rush hour taxis across the river often refuse the fare.
